ABOUT
Sharon Mridul
My own journey fuels everything I do. After years of chasing success through productivity, ambition, and external milestones, I began to realise that achievement alone could not create a meaningful life.
Beneath it all, I was searching for something deeper: a way of living that honoured both our human potential and our inner world. My work is rooted in that discovery—and in the belief that the quality of our lives is shaped not only by what we achieve, but by how deeply we experience them.
What does it really mean to live well?
That question has shaped every chapter of my life.
It led me to explore studies on emotional intelligence through the University of California, practice Vedic meditation, become a Master in Reiki, pursue conscious leadership coaching programs and volunteer at a Buddhist meditation centre whilst backpacking across Europe and the UK. My healing journey inspired me to found OPILLAR, an Australian wellness brand where I design eco-smart products that enhance our well-being—as well as Beyond Wellness Podcast, where I sit down with pioneers in holistic health to uncover their personal stories, philosophies, and practices that help us live with greater awareness and purpose as we build.
But my greatest education didn't come from books or qualifications.
It came from life.
I was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and raised in Sydney, Australia. Growing up in a home where emotions were often expressed through unpredictability and survival, I experienced firsthand how deeply our inner world shapes the quality of our relationships, our choices and ultimately our lives.
From a young age, I found myself questioning why we aren't taught how to understand our emotions, communicate with compassion or find peace within ourselves. I became fascinated by the idea that every behaviour has a deeper need beneath it, every emotion carries wisdom, and every challenge holds an opportunity for growth.
That curiosity became the beginning of a lifelong journey.
Over the years, I've immersed myself in yoga, Pilates, meditation, Reiki, philosophy, psychology, and both Eastern and Western wisdom traditions—not in search of perfection, but in search of understanding. Along the way, I discovered that wellbeing isn't something we achieve once we've fixed ourselves. It's something we practise every day through how we think, how we relate, how we move, how we rest, and how we choose to show up in the world.
Today, my mission is to help people intentionally design a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.
I don't claim to have all the answers.
I'm a lifelong student, researcher and practitioner who believes some of life's greatest lessons come from curiosity, reflection and lived experience. I hope that through honest conversations, practical wisdom and beautiful design, I can help others reconnect with themselves, regulate their emotions more effectively and create lives rooted in presence, purpose and inner peace.
Welcome.
